Employment: Development Assistant-Healthlink Medical Center HealthLink Medical Center, a free medical and dental clinic serving low-income, working, uninsured adults, seeks a Development Assistant to help raise funds and build, cultivate, and maintain strong relationships with donors and prospective donors. Responsibilities: coordinate the production and mailing of fundraising materials and newsletters; assist with events; process donations and acknowledgements; manage the donor database; and support the overall development effort. Position requires a strong eye for detail, ability to multi-task, and an energetic, entrepreneurial spirit. Must be able to enthusiastically interact with staff, volunteers, and donors. Development Associate, Central Bucks YMCA Assists with implementation of CBF YMCA capital campaign including assuming major responsibilities of the community phase of the campaign while supporting the leadership and major gifts phase of the Campaign, under the direction of Campaign Counsel and CBF YMCA General Director. Provides key support to Campaign Counsel and General Director all aspects of the capital campaign including correspondence, coordination and scheduling of executive and volunteer meetings, research, event planning, etc. Researches and assists with prospect management including identification, cultivation and solicitation of prospects for the capital effort. Works with CBF YMCA staff to maintain prospect database and oversees proper recording and acknowledgment via Member ST. Designs, implements and manages a series of campaign cultivation activities including events, print materials and communications with prospects. (Must follow and meet all CBF YMCA guidelines and standards.) Tracks volunteer and executive staff involvement in the campaign including learning how to prepare them to be effective cultivators and solicitors. Prepares briefing, message points and follow-up materials for solicitors under the direction of Development Counsel. Other campaign duties as requested. Minimum of 1-3 years fund raising experience with campaign experience a plus. Past experience with fund raising software a must.
