Newtown Friends School seeks a Director of Development and Alumni Relations 

Newtown Friends School is a coeducational prekindergarten through eighth grade Quaker independent school founded in 1948 and located in Newtown, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

The Director of Development and Alumni Relations is a full-time, twelve-month position. This individual reports directly to the Head of School and is part of a seven member administrative team. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to: Annual Fund, Capital Gifts, and Planned Giving; donor research and cultivation; alumni relations and outreach; school publications; the annual golf outing and other school-wide events; and grant writing. Outstanding interpersonal skills, excellent writing ability, and an appreciation for Friends education are essential.

Minimum requirements:
* Undergraduate degree from a four-year college or university
* Three years experience in the field of nonprofit development, preferably with independent schools
* Experience working with fundraising databases, preferably Raiser’s Edge
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel

Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Bucks County (BBBSBC) is looking for an Executive Director to be a strong leader to guide the Agency that is affiliated with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, the premiere youth mentoring organization world wide.

Philadelphia Youth Network – Director, Research and Evaluation
   The work of the Philadelphia Youth Network’s Director of Research and Evaluation will be guided by the vision of strengthening the field of youth workforce development and education reform by ensuring PYN staff and partners understand best practice related to their efforts and what impacts specific programmatic initiatives are having.
   His or her primary focus will be overseeing PYN’s efforts to evaluate and understand the impact of its investments over time, initially focusing on determining an evaluation framework that would allow the organization to talk about the aggregate impact of its investments and initiatives.  To support this work, the Director will work with the Performance Management Unit to ensure PYN is collecting the right data and information on its initiatives, and determine what else PYN should be measuring.  Additionally, the Director will stay abreast of national and local research ensuring the findings and trends are communicated to PYNs staff and networks and ensuring PYN’s program models are aligned with research-based best practices. The Director will also be responsible for the hiring and management of external researchers and evaluators as necessary.

   The College Access Center of Delaware County, an initiative of the Chester Higher Education Council, is seeking a Program Coordinator.
   The position calls for a well-organized and detailed individual with experience providing personalized college prep and career guidance for students and parents.  The primary responsibility of the Program Coordinator is to ensure that the center is providing quality programs and activities that support the goals of increasing access to post secondary education.
